Legal Marijuana Causes Mexican Drug Cartel Revenues To Tank

You might not indulge in the jazz cigarettes, but there’s no denying it’s prevalence across the world and especially in America. With the legalization of marijuana for medical purposes in several states and the allowance for it being recreational in four states, there’s no slowing it down.

While we will most likely see even more progressiveness and open-mindedness when it comes to the natural drug, not everyone is benefitting from the freedom. Participating US states are reportedly making millions off the taxation of legal marijuana, but the Mexican drug cartels are furious. Marijuana farms popping up in the US means less need for illegal weed from south of the border.
