An estimated 26% of American adults suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder. That’s about 60 million people. Or one in four of us. It’s “estimated” because there are millions of people out there who don’t even know they are suffering or refuse to get treated. It’s embarrassing for many people to publicly admit they have mental problems because ignorant people will think of them as “crazy” or a loose cannon who will go berserk. But even worse that being scared is having something wrong with your body and not even acknowledging it.
And celebrities aren’t excluded. Check out this new video of Teen Mom Catelynn Lowell.
