Where's Wale?

Rappers have a certain kind of responsibility when it comes to doing their duty as an artist. For some, it’s an obligation, for others, they do it for the love of their craft. When they see fans, they are expected to take photos and sign autographs. When they are booked for an appearance or show, they are expected to perform no matter what.

Last week, Kanye West abruptly ended his Saint Pablo show because his voice was too raspy to continue. Fans could care less that he had vocal issues, they just wanted to see his show. When Kanye announced that his show couldn’t go on, fans were pissed. They took to social media and blasted the rapper/producer, even though he offered concertgoers a full refund.

Earlier this summer, rapper Wale was paid and set to perform in NYC. Promoters said they paid Wale thousands of dollars to perform; He accepted it, but when it came time do the show, he was nowhere to be found.
