Robbery at the Jersey Strip Club Featured on ‘The Sopranos’

According to the authorities, a northern New Jersey strip club was robbed of $30,000 early Sunday morning – but this isn’t just any old club.

This strip club is unique because it happens to be the same strip club from the iconic HBO series, The Sopranos, appropriately called the ‘Bada Bing’ strip club in the show. Two men entered the very real club, called Satin Dolls, with shotguns raised and robbed the club before quickly fleeing the scene.

The club’s owner, his girlfriend and a manager were the ones in the venue when the criminals burst through the door. The two men used brute force, hitting them with the butt ends of their guns, and forced them to open the club’s safe, which was filled with $30,000.

According to The Guardian, “for its part in Sopranos lore, Satin Dolls saw an uptick in business during and after the show’s run.” There is no way this would have happened if mob boss Tony Soprano, played by James Gandolfini, were around. Gandolfini passed away in June, 2013, but his performance lives on through the Golden Globe award-winning HBO show and the famed hangout spots of Tony Soprano.

Tony Soprano never would’ve let this one slide. Find out what happened!
