Uh-oh! Looks like Kevin McEnroe, son of Oscar winner Tatum O’Neal and tennis great/actor (Mr. Deeds counts, right?) John McEnroe, was arrested on drug charges last week. According to the New York Daily News, prosecutors say the NYPD allegedly found the 27-year-old in possession of “six glassine envelopes of cocaine, 20 oxycodone pills, 10 morphine pills and one anxiety pill.”

Possession of a controlled substance is a tough pill to swallow, but having one of the biggest hot-heads in sports history for a father should ultimately be punishment enough. Hopefully the Judge shows leniency, because we’re sure that Johnny Mac will throw the book – and possibly a tennis racket – at his son.

THE LIST: 7 CELEBRITIES WITH CRIMINAL PASTS

McEnroe was arraigned Wednesday in Manhattan Criminal Court, with prosecutors asking bail be set at $5,000. He was released however, after a judge recognized him. He is to appear in court on October 16.

This story is not uncommon for the community of celebrity offspring. Just last month Robert Downey Jr.‘s son Indio was arrested for drugs possession as well. Stop-and-frisk may be better suited for this uniquely privileged group.
