I hope you haven’t forgotten this superstar. It makes me sad to think that he has yet to win an Academy Award for acting. Viewers worldwide had a good laugh watching Samuel L Jackson pound it out with Zach Galifianakis at the end of his Between Two Ferns show, Happy Holidays edition.
Recently on The Graham Norton Show, Jackson perfectly recited his famous Ezekiel speech from the 1994 movie Pulp Fiction, where he was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
Jackson looks different now although he still has the capability of winning an Oscar at the age of 65. He did not have to prove anything to the audience attending The Graham Norton Show, Jackson “looked straight down the lens and recited the speech like he had just shot the movie yesterday.” He delivered the speech with much poise and intensity, it felt quite different and almost better than watching the scene from the movie. Graham Norton even said to Jackson during his show “we were talking about this during the week about how intimidating it would be to see you.”
I am looking forward to seeing Jackson’s new performance in both The Avengers: Age of Ultron, currently in principal photography, and especially in Kingsman: The Secret Service, which is in post-production and will be released on November 14, 2014 . Be sure to watch the trailer below.
Here is the original clip of Jackson’s monologue, playing Jules Winnfield almost 20 years ago in the Quentin Tarantino film.
Now watch Jackson’s compelling moment of last night’s show.
